For a second year in a row, Foxboro athletes Wendy Nelson and Paula Kelly ran 26.1 miles donning bright orange “Cure Progeria” t-shirts, raising nearly $10,000 for PRF – amazing!
“Trust me, if I could do more, I would”, says Wendy, “the marathon is something that I CAN do, so I just love doing it for Sam. He is a heck of an inspiration!”
Paula agrees: “It is an honor to run for Sam and all the children and families living with Progeria. And I have gotten more from this experience than I have given. I will always be grateful for that.”
