After meeting Sam while on vacation in Hawaii, Andrew, of Sammamish, WA took a quick interest in Progeria. In February 2007, Andrew spearheaded a school bake sale to benefit PRF, enlisting the help of some friends, and convinced Cascade Ridge Elementary School’s principal to help spread the word. The bake sale brought in over $500, with many students donating their allowances to the cause. Andrew also created a storyboard on Progeria for the school’s science fair, and made a presentation to his entire class. Thanks, Andrew!
