Spreading the Word in Spain
In May 2007, Sara and Mònica of Barcelona, Spain contacted PRF looking for information on Progeria for their high school research project. The 17-year old girls, who attend PÀLCAM high school, have become so interested in children with Progeria that they have vowed to continue to follow PRF’s work, and talk about PRF in their community.

Big Heart in the Outback Daniel, a 10 year old boy from Queensland Australia, saw a television program on Progeria, and knew right away what he wanted to do: Every year Daniel saves up some money to donate to charity, and after learning about Progeria, he sent PRF $60 for the clinical drug trial. We hope other boys and girls follow your example, Daniel, and we’ll reach our $2 million goal in no time!
Holiday Wishes from Portugal

After hearing about Progeria, Inês, from Lisbon, Portugal, decided she wanted to know more. So she read PRF’s website and was even more determined to help in some way! Ines and her friend Joana made beautiful holiday cards for the children in the clinical drug trial, and Inês has offered to be a volunteer Portuguese translator. Thanks to our new-found friends in Portugal!
