In September 2003, an incredibly talented and generous group of students held "The Primet Fame Academy Competition", a pop idol contest where those in year 9 sing and are judged by their peers. Over 200 people bought tickets to the final 10 acts, and they held a raffle for items donated by local businesses. They raised 627BP - that's $1,042!
