Caitlyn, of Shepaug Valley High School in Washington, Connecticut is doing her senior project on The Progeria Research Foundation, raising awareness and funds as part of her assignment. Her many fundraising efforts throughout the year have included selling homemade Progeria pins, gathering donated items for a raffle at a Holiday Bazaar, placing Progeria collection cans around the community, and holding a concession stand for a four night run of the high school's play, "Seussical...the Musical". She also did bulletins and mailings to inform the students, parents, and teachers at her school about Progeria and her project. Caitlyn's tireless efforts raised $1267.38! Caitlyn detailed all her efforts and results at her Senior Project Presentation. Thank you for all your time, energy, and great ideas, Caitlyn, we think you deserve an A+!
