The winds were blowing at the 3rd Annual Team Zoey Turkey Trot, but that didn’t keep anyone away! The event was a huge success, raising over $30,000 for PRF.
Here is a message from Barbara Batesko, PRF’s NJ Chapter President.
3rd Annual Turkey Trot
Thank You never Seems Like Enough!
Dear Team Zoeu Supporters:
November 30th was our 3rd Annual Team Zoey "Miles of Hope" 5k run 1m fun/run Turkey Trot. I am humbled and proud to announce that Team Zoey had over 600 walkers and runners in attendance and we raised over $30,000 this past Saturday in Verona Park thanks to all of your support.
In true Team Zoey fashion this years Turkey Trot exceeded our expectations. To all our regular supports, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and to all of you who are 1st time Team Zoey supporters, we thank you and welcome you to our Team.
We would like to thank all the sponsors, volunteers and the committee who worked tirelessly for 6 months to take care of every detail. A special Thank you to Al Siuta who without his timing expertise we would not have a race.
The money Team Zoey raises goes to The Progeria Research Foundation to find treatments and a cure for Progeria. None of it would be possible if it was not for the incredible hearts of the people who keep showing up to help support Team Zoey.
Thanks to all of you we are already dreaming about next years Turkey Trot!
