Hats off to Michaela and Josh Nighbor for their help at the Nighbor family's recent fall fundraiser. Proud mom Sandy says, "Michaela was "awesome" - she would ask certain ones if they would buy a PRF wristband & of course most couldn't stay "NO" - if they did - she'd shrug if off & ask someone else. Josh stayed all day cooking bratwurst and serving the customers."
THIS ANGEL BLANKET was won by Angela Brown of the Town of Kingston (not pictured). The blanket was one of dozens of prizes for raffles and a silent auction at the Megan Nighbor Walk-a-thon/Packer Party at Smokey Joe's in Marquette. STEPPING OUT IN THE RAIN about 25 walkers took part in a Walk-a-thon for Progeria in Marquette on Sunday raising $3000 for Megan Nighbor of Dalton and Progeria research. Photo courtesy of Joy Waterbury
And in October, this energetic group, led by Amazing Aunt Sue Giese, held a 2 mile walk & Packers party. The 2 events brought in $8,000 for Progeria research - WOW! Thank you, everyone!
