Guitars for Life Concert Brings in New Fans and Raises Awareness
The weekend benefit concert held by Guitars for Life, on behalf of The Progeria Research Foundation was a wonderful gathering of musicians, children, and others who came out to support PRF and listen to some fantastic music. There was lots of local press coverage, which provided an opportunity to raise awareness about Progeria. Attendees were treated to the talents of such musical legends as Bernard Purdie, Thom Bresh, Lisa Carver, Jon Paris, Nick Sterling and many others. Clowns, a moonbounce and magicians were on hand for the children as well.
