In December 2005, Meagan of Zion, Illinois raffled off home made candy wreaths for PRF. Meagan, as aspiring pediatric physician, had always been interested in Progeria and even gave a report on the disease for her Anatomy and Physiology class. The raffle was held at the bowling alley where she works. With the help of her professor and bowlers from the men's and women's team clubs, she collected $500 for PRF! "I don't know anyone with Progeria, but the stories touched my heart and inspired me to help", she said. Thanks, Meagan. We are lucky to have you on OUR team!
