Nearly 20,000 people attended the second annual Rock ’Til You Drop Car Show and Concert in the Ft. Meyers, FL River District. Visitors enjoyed viewing more than 1,000 show cars from the 1930s through 1990s and listening to live music from doo-wop bands. Along with enjoying their favorite past-time, they also helped raise $3,900 for The Progeria Research Foundation to help find a cure for the illness.
“We are thrilled about the enormous attendance we received at the car show and are grateful we can support PRF at the same time,” said Don Paight, executive director of the Fort Myers Redevelopment Agency.
Many thanks to Tony Allen, who worked tirelessly to make this event a success.
