Mary Delarosa, Zoey's great aunt, was invited to speak to 200 ladies, age 18-21 at the Delta Zeta Sorority House at Louisiana State University, about Progeria and Team Zoey. "All I did was tell an awesome group of college women about Zoey and they took it from there and wanted to become members of TEAM ZOEY!" states Mary. "I am so blessed to have worked with some unbelievable caring and compassionate college women that any of us would be proud to call "daughter". After the presentation the ladies presented Mary with a check for $5,000 for The Progeria Research Foundation. "I was so humbled. I thought that I was going to ask for donations. I had no idea that they had already raised the money and joined our cause to find a cure! God is good."
