We are racing to the finish line with YearOne’s stunning “upset”: this year’s Braselton Bash in Georgia raised over $123,000 for Progeria research – UNBELIEVABLE! It all started with a VIP, invite-only Texas Hold ‘em Poker Tournament on Friday night at Milton Robinson’s place, where guests were entertained by Kenny Wayne Shepard and a fun, impromptu live auction. Then thousands turned out the next day for the car show, an autograph session with Chip Foose, and a silent auction of dozens of items. The day ended with PRF’s Executive Director in shock when YearOne President Kevin King announced the amount raised!

“I cannot thank the YearOne staff, event sponsors, Chip and everyone that participated in this event enough for their support”, said Audrey, who was accompanied by PRF’s Gala 2007 co-chairs Debbie Ponn and Vickie Robbin. “Throughout the weekend, people kept coming up to us, wanting to know how they can help. The YearOne staff and event volunteers worked in the heat without a single complaint – in fact, when I thanked them, they just said they were happy to help such a great cause.”

Audrey is speechless at the
announcement of the amount raised.
