Our newest chapter officially opened on August 19, 2008 with a wonderful presentation by Zach’s mom, Tina Pickard, followed by an overview of PRF by Executive Director Audrey Gordon and a special talk by PRF board member Chuck Bresnahan, who drove down from Cincinnati to meet the group. The night ended with a lovely dinner at Pam and Rick Desrocher’s house, where the talk of future chapter activities continued. This active group has already held pancake breakfasts and several other events at schools, and Zach’s dad Brandon’s company, Brownstown Electric, now organizes an annual race.
