It all started with the Sundance Film Festival! Since its premiere in January 2013 at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, Life According to Sam had an amazing, year-long run on the festival circuit, captivating audiences across North America.
Awards, Awards and more Awards!
Life According to Sam (LATS) and its Oscar winning Directors Sean Fine and Andrea Nix Fine racked up awards as well as fantastic reviews – and even made the “short list” for Oscar consideration, a tremendous honor. LATS was chosen as one of the “Best of Fest” at the AFI Docs Festival in Washington, DC, was the Audience Award Winner at the Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard Film Festivals, received the Best Storytelling Award at Nantucket , won Best Feature Documentary at the Woods Hole and Rhode Island International Film Festivals, and more - WOW!
If you were unable to catch Life According to Sam at a festival or on HBO, it is now available at any time ON DEMAND. Also, the DVD will be available in April.
Host a LATS Screening: Would you like to share the movie with friends and help support Progeria research at the same time? This is your chance to bring the Red Carpet to your home! Host a LATS Premiere Party at your home, invite friends and family to watch the film with you, and have an informative Q & A afterwards - Contact Michelle at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’d like more details on hosting a premiere party.
