Walkers get pumped for the start of the Romulus Walk-A-Thon

Theresa, a senior at Romulus High School in Michigan, decided to hold a Walk-a-thon as part of her “Senior Project”. Theresa went all out, interviewing two experts on Progeria, designing her own walk-a-thon brochures and pledge sheets, and setting up donation cans across town. The Romulus Progeria Walk-a-thon was a HUGE success, raising over $1,300 for PRF. And participants got an extra special treat when Lindsay, a child with Progeria from Michigan, and her family attended the event. “Thank you for helping me through this project”, said Theresa, “It was an amazing experience.” We thank YOU, Theresa, and hope other students will follow your example for their school projects.
