After viewing the Barbara Walters 20/20 special on Progeria, Clare, a student at Seneca High School in Tabernacle, NJ, was so touched by the children with Progeria that she wanted to do something to help, so with her mom's help, she organized a bake sale at their church to benefit PRF. In addition to the money raised from the bake sale, Clare's parents and Thrivent Financial added matching funds, for a total of $1,347 - that's a lot of cupcakes! Thank you to Clare and the entire Maurer Family!
