Every year, Playboy holds a series of golf tournaments around the country, with the winners moving on to semi-finals in Las Vegas and then the finals at the Playboy Mansion. In Massachusetts, the Georgetown Club hosted this year's event, organized by CMT Entertainment of Winchester. Playboy generously chooses a local charity to receive a portion of the proceeds generated from the local tournament, and this year PRF was the lucky one!
Celebrities Seth Meyers from Saturday Night Live, Survivor sweetheart ``Boston Rob'' Mariano, and lots of sports celebrities attended the pre-party at the FELT in Boston the night before, which included an exciting live auction that everyone was talking about the next day on the course!
The sold-out crowd of over 140 golfers enjoyed a picture perfect day on the course, then a fabulous dinner and awards ceremony, highlighted by speeches from Dr. Leslie Gordon and Audrey Gordon, and a moving video of the children with Progeria. On hand to help give out the awards was Sam Berns, who captured the hearts of all who attended.
