Brenda, a fifth grade teacher at the Benjamin Friedman Middle School in Taunton, saw a brochure at the Middleboro YMCA about Kristian McGuinness’ Walk for Progeria Research last year. Ms. Ruggiero’s class was eager to raise funds for the walk in memory of Kristian.  In November and December 2006 students in Rooms 118 and 120 brought in their spare change to donate; in some cases, the children emptied their piggy banks! They raised $83.74 for PRF.  What a wonderful way to honor Kristian’s memory.
