Scottsdale, Arizona Jan. 18-26, 2025<\/h3>\n<p>Renowned automotive designer, artist and long-time PRF supporter Chip Foose has collaborated with RealTruck Inc. on a one-of-a-kind 2021 F-150 truck recently revealed at SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) in Las Vegas. The truck was auctioned off at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.barrett-jackson.com\/scottsdale-2025\">Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, Arizona in January 2025<\/a>, for a grand total of $150,000 with all proceeds benefiting PRF\u2019s research toward the cure for Progeria. <em>WOW!!!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Chip Foose, known for his car-customization reality television series \u201cOverhaulin\u2019,\u201d has been a close friend and supporter of PRF for<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.progeriaresearch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/chip-and-amy-foose-250x300.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"300\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19687 alignright size-medium\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.progeriaresearch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/chip-and-amy-foose-250x300.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.progeriaresearch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/chip-and-amy-foose.jpg 404w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/> decades, because Chip\u2019s sister Amy passed away from Progeria in 1985 at age 16. <span>Amy lived her life with a sense of optimism and warmth that could light up any room<\/span><span>.
