Wir hoffen, dass alle gesunde und erholsame Feiertage hatten.<\/p>\n<p>Wir starten ins Jahr 2021 mit <strong>weitere spannende Forschungs-News<\/strong>Im Januar ver\u00f6ffentlichte das Wissenschaftsjournal <em>Natur<\/em> ver\u00f6ffentlichte bahnbrechende Ergebnisse, die zeigen, dass die genetische Bearbeitung in einem Mausmodell von Progeria <strong>Korrektur der Mutation, die in vielen Zellen Progerie verursacht,<\/strong> verbesserte mehrere wesentliche Krankheitssymptome und <strong>dramatisch verl\u00e4ngerte Lebensdauer<\/strong> bei den M\u00e4usen.<\/p>\n<p>Die von PRF mitfinanzierte und von PRFs medizinischem Direktor Dr. Leslie Gordon mitverfasste Studie ergab, dass M\u00e4use mit einer einzigen Injektion eines Baseneditors, der so programmiert war, dass er die krankheitsverursachende Mutation korrigierte, 2,5-mal l\u00e4nger \u00fcberlebten als unbehandelte Progeria-Kontrollm\u00e4use und ein Alter erreichten, das dem Beginn des hohen Alters bei gesunden M\u00e4usen entspricht.
