April 2023, wird die Progeria Research Foundation zwei langj\u00e4hrige PRF-Unterst\u00fctzer anfeuern, die im Namen der Progeria-Gemeinschaft beim Boston-Marathon auf die Stra\u00dfe gehen werden: Paul Michienzie aus Foxboro (rechts) und Bobby Nadeau (links) aus Mansfield. Die guten Freunde werden den begehrten 26,2-Meilen-Lauf absolvieren, um Spenden f\u00fcr die Heilung von Progeria zu sammeln.<\/p>\n<p>Paul l\u00e4uft den Marathon im Namen von PRF zum dritten Mal in Folge, hat aber eigentlich f\u00fcr vier Marathons trainiert \u2013 der erste wurde wegen COVID abgesagt. Paul und seine Familie waren gute Freunde und Nachbarn von Dr. Leslie Gordon und Scott Berns (Mitbegr\u00fcnder von PRF) und ihrem Sohn Sam Berns, der an Progerie litt und 2014 verstarb.
