Leur premier et principal objectif de trouver le g\u00e8ne de la prog\u00e9ria ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 atteint, ils vont maintenant aller de l&#039;avant avec l&#039;\u00e9tude d\u00e9taill\u00e9e du d\u00e9faut g\u00e9n\u00e9tique.<\/p>\n<p>23 ao\u00fbt 2002 : premi\u00e8re r\u00e9union du consortium de g\u00e9n\u00e9tique \u00e0 Providence, Rhode Island<br \/>\nLe Consortium de g\u00e9n\u00e9tique de la Fondation de recherche sur la prog\u00e9ria, cr\u00e9\u00e9 et organis\u00e9 par le Dr Leslie B. Gordon, directeur m\u00e9dical de la PRF, a tenu sa premi\u00e8re r\u00e9union \u00e0 l&#039;Universit\u00e9 Brown \u00e0 Providence, Rhode Island, le 23 ao\u00fbt 2002. R\u00e9unissant des experts du monde entier, le Consortium de g\u00e9n\u00e9tique de la PRF favorise les progr\u00e8s de la recherche sur la prog\u00e9ria en recherchant le g\u00e8ne de la prog\u00e9ria et en caract\u00e9risant la maladie \u00e0 l&#039;aide de techniques g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques.
