Alors que plus des 2\/3 des enfants non identifi\u00e9s atteints de Progeria se trouveraient en Chine et en Inde, la PRF a renouvel\u00e9 ses efforts dans ces pays dans le cadre de ses programmes. Campagne \u00ab Trouvez les 150 autres \u00bb<\/a> (maintenant, trouvez les enfants).<\/p>\n

\n

L'objectif de la campagne mondiale de la Fondation de recherche sur la prog\u00e9ria, Trouvez les 150 autres (maintenant trouvez les enfants).<\/a><\/strong>, a pour objectif d'identifier, de contacter et d'aider les enfants non identifi\u00e9s atteints de Progeria afin qu'ils puissent obtenir l'aide unique dont ils ont besoin, y compris la participation aux essais cliniques de m\u00e9dicaments financ\u00e9s par le PRF. Statistiquement, il y a environ 350 enfants atteints de Progeria dans le monde, et nous en connaissons actuellement 125. (Voir, PRF en chiffres<\/a>(diapositives 15 \u00e0 19, pour la formule de pr\u00e9valence utilis\u00e9e.) Sur les 225 enfants inconnus, on estime que 60 enfants vivent en Inde et 76 en Chine, soit 2\/3 des enfants que nous recherchons !

With more than 2\/3 of the unidentified children with Progeria believed to be in China and India, PRF has renewed efforts in those countries in its \u201cFind the Other 150\u201d campaign<\/a>.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

The goal of The Progeria Research Foundation\u2019s global campaign, Find the Other 150<\/a><\/strong>, is to identify, connect with and help the unidentified children living with Progeria so that they can get the unique help they need, including participation in the PRF-funded clinical drug trials. Statistically, there are approximately 350 children with Progeria throughout the world, and we currently know of 125. (See, PRF By The Numbers<\/a>, slides 15-19, for the Prevalence formula used.) Of the 225 unknown children, an estimated 60 children live in India and 76 live in China \u2013 that\u2019s 2\/3 of the children we are looking for!
<\/p>

In partnership with India\u2019s MediaMedic Communications, China-based Mileage Communications, and the public who learns of Progeria and how to recognize it, as well as of PRF and the programs we have to help them, we hope to find many more children.<\/strong>See the press releases here:<\/p>
