Vanwege het ongelofelijke succes van de campagnes van de afgelopen jaren in 2009 en 2015, zijn we verheugd om de lancering van ons 'Find the Children'-initiatief in 2019 aan te kondigen. Hiermee gaan we wereldwijd op zoek naar niet-gediagnosticeerde kinderen met Progeria, zodat ook zij toegang krijgen tot de unieke zorg die ze nodig hebben.<\/p>\n

In samenwerking met Wereldwijde gezondheids-PR<\/a>, een wereldwijde gezondheidscommunicatiegroep, evenals haar zusterorganisaties in het buitenland \u2013 MediaMedic<\/a> in India, en Madison-communicatie<\/a> In China is PRF bezig met het opzetten van een internationale bewustwordingscampagne om een zo groot mogelijk bereik te garanderen.<\/p>\n

De campagne start deze week met een lancering in India, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van partnerschappen met lokale verenigingen, artsen en overheidsinstellingen, evenals sociale en traditionele media. Blijf de komende weken en maanden bij ons voor updates over onze aankomende campagnelanceringen in Bangladesh en China. Met naar schatting 200 onbekende kinderen met Progeria wereldwijd, waarvan we denken dat ongeveer 2\/3 in China en India is, hopen we dat deze inspanning nog veel meer kinderen naar PRF brengt.<\/p>\n

Toen we tien jaar geleden de vorige campagne lanceerden, wisten we van slechts 54 kinderen. Dat aantal is verdrievoudigd, met 161 ge\u00efdentificeerde kinderen die met Progeria leven over de hele wereld, grotendeels dankzij onze proactieve inspanningen.<\/p>\n

Due to the incredible success of previous years\u2019 campaigns in 2009 and 2015, we are thrilled to announce the 2019 launch our \u2018Find the Children\u2019 initiative to search globally for the undiagnosed children with Progeria so that they, too, can have access to the unique care they need.<\/p>

In partnership with GlobalHealth PR<\/a>, a worldwide health communications group, as well as its sister agencies abroad - MediaMedic<\/a> in India, and Madison Communications<\/a> in China, PRF is building an international awareness campaign to assure the greatest possible reach.<\/p>

The campaign is kicking off with a launch in India this week, leveraging partnerships with local associations, physicians, and government institutions, as well as social and traditional media outlets. Over the coming weeks and months, stay with us for updates on our upcoming campaign launches in Bangladesh and China as well. With an estimated 200 unknown children with Progeria worldwide, about 2\/3 of whom we believe are in China and India, we hope this effort brings many more children to PRF.<\/p>

When we first launched the previous campaign ten years ago, we knew of only 54 children. That number has tripled, with 161 children identified that are living with Progeria throughout the world, in large part due to our pro-active efforts.<\/p>
