Liderando o an\u00fancio estava o Diretor M\u00e9dico da PRF, Dr. Leslie Gordon. O painel de palestrantes incluiu o Dr. Francis Collins, Chefe do Projeto Genoma Humano, o Dr. W. Ted Brown, especialista mundial em Progeria, e John Tacket, Embaixador Jovem da PRF.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20170216040541im_\/https:\/\/www.progeriaresearch.org\/assets\/images\/medical_images\/JohnFrancis-NPC-Apr2003.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" \/><strong>\u201cEste \u00e9 um dia emocionante para mim e meus amigos\u201d, disse John Tacket ao se dirigir aos rep\u00f3rteres.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A hist\u00f3ria foi relatada pela Reuters, AP e UPI, aparecendo em praticamente todos os principais jornais dos Estados Unidos e na revista People.
