September 23rd in Wayne NJ: First Annual TEAM ZOEY Golf Outing Raises an Astonishing $180,000!

In honor of Zoey, who turned 1 year old in September and was diagnosed with Progeria at 5 months of age, Team Zoey held their first golf outing at the Preakness Hills Country Club in Wayne, NJ on September 23rd. The event, organized by Zoey’s grandfather John Marozzi, was spectacular – complete with brunch, on-course refreshments, an elegant cocktail reception, gourmet dinner and live and silent auctions. Every single pre-registered golfer showed up, and dozens more joined the dinner and auction celebration, raising over $180,000 for Progeria research.

“It was a wonderful day and a fabulous success, more than we could have ever hoped for”, said John.
