June 23rd, Bowl-a-thon in Virginia!

Capital District Circle K, a youth organization sponsored by the nationally recognized Kiwanis, held a bowl-a-thon in the Baltimore-Washington DC area. Circle K is the largest service organization among college students, and we are proud and pleased that they chose PRF to benefit from this fund-raiser. The event was well-attended, and everyone had a great time! If you would like to host a bowl-a-thon in your area, contact us!

Goodies Sold at Middle School for the Good of PRF

Thanks to Gabrielle and her classmates at the Salk Middle School Builder's Club of Levittown, NY, who organized a bake sale that raised over $100 for PRF. And just as importantly, they distributed lots of PRF brochures and newsletters, and educated students about Progeria in the classrooms. Thank you, students!

Huron SD Chapter Still Going!

This industrious group that has formed PRF's very first chapter held a bake sale on December - yummm! It was a sell-out, and lots of brochures and newsletters were distributed. They are hard at work planning a dance for May, so stay tuned for more Huron Chapter news!

Virginia High School Students Pass the Cap for Progeria

After learning about PRF through our web site, students at Annandale High School in Annandale, VA passed a cap around to raise money for PRF. Just another way to contribute - thank you!

Hertz Nursery Donates Tzedakah Collection

The Erna and Julius Hertz Nursery School of Sharon, MA chose PRF to be the recipient of the money collected by the children throughout the school year. Tradition calls for acts of Tzedaka, which is Hebrew for charity, to be done in various ways. We're grateful that these young children chose PRF as the beneficiary of such a wonderful tradition.

Key Clubs contribute to PRF

It started with the Capital District Key Club holding a bowl-a-thon last summer. Now the Key Club involvement has expanded to include several other branches! Deep Creek High School Key Club held a gift-wrapping fundraiser, where they wrapped gifts and sold decorative wrapping paper. Other Key Clubs that have donated to PRF include:

Annandale High School
Broadneck High School
Charlottesville High School
Clarke County High School
Dulaney High School
Fishburne Military School
James Wood High School
James Monroe High School
Largo High School
Maryland School for the Blind
Middlesex High School
