Financial Profile

See why we have the highest, 4-star rating from Charity Navigator!

We do all we can to keep our administrative and fundraising costs low. We are proud to say that we have consistently devoted 80% or more of our expenses to research and research-related programming that will help us find the cure for Progeria. According to the Standards for Charity Accountability, non-profits should spend at least 65% on program activities, so we are far above that figure and always striving to make it higher.

PRF’s fiscal responsibility has been a key factor in attaining a coveted 4-star rating with Charity Navigator, America’s premier independent nonprofit evaluator, for nine years in a row. “This is our highest possible rating and indicates that your organization adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way…Only 5% of the charities we evaluate have received at least 9 consecutive 4-star evaluations… This exceptional designation from Charity Navigator sets The Progeria Research Foundation apart from its peers and demonstrates to the public its trustworthiness.”
