Ambassadors Needed

If you or someone you know would be interested in volunteering their time to greet families at Boston Logan Airport, bring them to their housing near Children’s Hospital, and make sure they are settled in for their week of testing.

Our Family Ambassadors greet families at Boston Logan Airport, bring them to their housing near Children’s Hospital, and make sure they are settled in for their week of testing.  Most international families arrive on Saturday, while most US families arrive on Sunday. Families come from all over the world, even as far away as Japan and Australia. We also ask Ambassadors to return the family to the airport on the following Saturday. After their long trip to Boston, the families are very grateful for the hospitality!

We have a partnership with Massport’s Meet and Greet program, to help get families from their gate to easy curbside pick-up.

We are interested in bilingual, multilingual, and English speaking ambassadors. It is sometimes possible to arrange for volunteer interpreters to accompany ambassadors if needed.

If you are interested in becoming a PRF Ambassador, please contact the PRF office at 978-535-2594 or email PRF’s Clinical Trial Coordinator, Justine Maestranzi, at ctcoordinator@progeriaresearch.org
