For six hours straight, auto designing legend Chip Foose (www.chipfoose.com) signed t-shirts for a cause near and dear to his heart: Chip's sister Amy had Progeria (see Amy's story). Appearing at the "Wheels and Waves" show, a classic car, hot rod and motorcycle show in Chip's hometown of Santa Barbara, California, Chip rolled up his sleeves to support PRF. Our thanks go out to Chip's mom Terry, and the other family and friends that came out to support PRF in Amy's memory. A special attraction at the show: "The Amy Car", built by Chip and his dad Sam Foose in 1986 as a memorial to Amy. Thanks to all who participated, especially The Wheels and Waves Foundation, Foose Design, and Year One Inc. (who held another event in Braselton, Georgia). With personal donations, a can collection, autographs, and proceeds from the shows, $4,000 was raised for PRF!
