Each year at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, the Residential Enhancement Committee, which is in charge of improving dorm life for students, holds a fundraiser in their tornado shelter. Blocks of walls are “sold” to the students, who then paint a new mural on that space. The committee chose PRF this year - definitely one of the more creative (and fun!) ways we have heard to raise money! “It was cool to spread the word while we were painting, because people don't know much about it”, said event chair Daphne Phillips, “I chose this organization because it's a very serious disease, but every Progeria child I've seen has a tremendous spirit”, Many thanks to all the students for their artistic support.
