What a fun night! 110 poker players and dozens of others enjoyed competing for top prizes as high as $2,500 at PRF’s second annual Texas Hold ’em Poker tournament in its home town of Peabody, Massachusetts. Our Red Sox tickets raffle, 50/50 raffle and “Pocketbooks for Progeria” Auction also helped raise nearly $10,000! Bidders chose from several designer purses, and the lucky high bidders then opened them to see what was inside: lottery tickets, gift certificates, or up to $500 cash!

Many thanks to co-chairs Maura Smith and Kim Paratore; volunteers Stacey Scott, Marni Correra, Vickie Robbin and Robyn Milbury; volunteer dealers Scott Kennedy, Hank Lucas, Alyse Barbash, Bob Richmond, Bruce Glazer and Tom Milbury; sponsors Champions Pub, Dunkin’ Donuts/Rich D’Angelo, North Shore Tile & Marble, Kelly’s Roast Beef of Danvers, JJ Fruit, Senator Fred Berry, Sunrise Assisted Living, Costco, Sav-Mor Liquors, Fotowerks, and Mr. G’s; and Bay State Poker.

Congratulations to Paul DiRosa, 1st place winner of the tournament. Paul won $2,200!!
