A very industrious and philanthropic group of students from the University of Texas at Arlington got together and

created Project Progeria, a student-run organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds to help find a cure. “I can’t express how touched I am by these children and their greatness”, writes President Angela Nguyen. “We feel so honored to be a part of this wonderful project, working to help these children.” Their first fundraiser was a tremendous success, surpassing their expectations by raising $500 from the sale of Oriental foods on campus.
